Even as reports floated that Wonder Woman 3 is at works with Gal Gadot returning in the titular character, the film is no longer in development despite the actor being up for it.

As per a Variety report, Gal Gadot had said that under the leadership of James Gunn and Peter Safran, a third film on Wonder Woman is at works with her.  Accordinf to Flaunt magazine, the actor was quoted as saying, "I was invited to a meeting with James Gunn and Peter Safran and what they told me, and I'm quoting: 'You're in the best hands. We're going to develop Wonder Woman 3 with you. (We) love you as Wonder Woman— you've got nothing to worry about.' So time will tell."

While the actor had also, at various circumstances, has expressed her love for portraying the character, sources at Variety have learned that no solid plans or promises were made for Wonder Woman 3. Currently at DC, films like Superman: Legacy and Batman: The Brave and the Bold are in the forefront of the making with other films focusing on characters like Booster Gold, Question, the Atom and more, in discussion.
