At CinemaCon, actors Will Smith and Martin Lawrence spoke about their return to Bad Boys franchise.

According to Variety, Smith revealed, "We're hype, we're excited." He also apologised for not being able to attend the annual convention of the exhibition industry in Las Vegas. Lawrence also noted that they were four weeks into filming the fourth film in the franchise.

It may be noted that the fourth part of the franchise will be directed by the filmmaker duo Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, who previously directed the 2020 film, Bad Boys for Life.

The rest of the ensemble also includes franchise veteran Paola Nunez, Vanessa Hudgens and Alexander Ludwig, along with Euphoria's Eric Dane. The screenplay is written by Chris Bremner.

The Bad Boys franchise revolves around two Miami cops who rack up a lot of civic and vehicular damage while chasing drug dealers and lowlifes.
