Aziz Ansari is all set to write, direct and star in an upcoming comedy film titled Good Fortune. The film will be backed by Lionsgate and marks Ansari's feature directorial debut. 

Production of Good Fortune is scheduled to begin soon in Los Angeles, California. Along with Ansari, Seth Rogen and Keanu Reeves will also be starring in the film. Details about the plot and the rest of the cast are still kept under wraps. 

Ansari is known for his performance in the comedy series Parks and Recreation as Tom Haverford. He received 7 Emmy nominations for his work on Master of None and won two awards for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series in 2016 and 2017.  

Seth Rogen was last seen as Donkey Kong in The Super Mario Bros. film which is presently breaking many box office records. He will next be seen in Dumb Money and Platonic. Roger's project as a producer, Joy Ride will be released in July. 

Keanu Reeves, who is still enjoying the success of John Wick: Chapter 4, has Ballerina, a spin-off film of the action-packed franchise, starring Ana de Armas.  He will reprise his role as the titular John Wick in the film. 

The makers are yet to reveal a release window for Good Fortune.
