Tessa Thompson to star in Hedda 

The upcoming film is the adaptation of the Hedda Gabler play

Actor Tessa Thompson, last seen in Creed III, will star in an upcoming film titled Hedda. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actor is said to play the role of Hedda Gabler. The film will be written and directed by Nia DaCosta. 

The upcoming film is the adaptation of the Hedda Gabler play. The story of the play follows the titular characterthe daughter of a general trapped in a marriage and a house unwillingly.  The film will be produced by Plan B, DaCosta, Gabrielle Nadig and Thompson. Kishori Rajan for Viva Maude and Michael Constable serve as the executive producers. 

It may be noted that Thompson is known for her appearances as Valkyrie in Marvel’s Thor: Ragnarok and Thor: Love and Thunder and as Bianca with Michael B Jordan in the Creed franchise. She also worked in all four seasons of HBO's Westworld.
