Melissa Barrera to star in Radio Silence's next

Stephen Shields and Guy Busick are writing the film's screenplay

Melissa Barrera is reportedly all set to reunite with Radio Silence after Scream, for their upcoming monster film backed by Universal Pictures. Tentatively untitled, Barrera is expected to play a key role in the film. 

The directing collective of Radio Silence, Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett have previously worked by Barrera in the Scream reboot and Scream VI

The upcoming monster film for Universal Pictures will be helmed by Radio Silence with Chad Villella producing alongside William Sherak, Paul Neinstein and James Vanderbilt for Project X Entertainment. Stephen Shields and Guy Busick are writing the film's screenplay. The plot details of the film are currently kept undisclosed. 

Meanwhile, Melissa Barrera will next be seen in the feature film debut of Kwame Kwei-Armah titled, The Collaboration. Based on the Broadway play of the same name, the shooting for the film was wrapped last year. Barrera will be seen alongside Paul Bettany, Jeremy Pope and Daniel Bruhl in the film.
