Sebastian Stan and Maria Bakalova have reportedly been roped in to play the lead roles in Paramount's upcoming spy comedy that is under development. With Jenny Bicks set to write the script, the film is said to revolve around a double agent who somehow turns his career around, after experiencing failure.

With Paul Feig speculated to direct, the project will also be produced by him with Stan, Laura Allen Fischer, and Emily Gerson Saines.

While Stan is best known for his role as Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier in the Marvel films, he recently received nominations at the Critics Choice, Emmy and Golden Globes for his role as Tommy Lee in Pam and Tommy. Maria Bakalova's well-known role is as Borat's daughter Tutar from Borat Subsequent Moviefilm (2020). She will next appear in Fairyland, and in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3
