With the release of Marvel's Secret Invasion fast approaching, the makers have released a new trailer for the series. The trailer starts by showing Nick Fury's (Samuel L Jackson) return to Earth, only to find the Skrulls escalating a war. Fury then decides that he must fight this war alone to win the Earth back from the Skrulls, who have now inhabited the land transshaping themselves as humans. 

Apart from Jackson, the series will also star Ben Mendelsohn as Talos and Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill. James Rhodey played by Don Cheadle and Everett K Ross played by Martin Freeman are also set to appear in the series. The rest of the cast in Secret Invasion includes Emilia Clarke as G'iah – the daughter of Mendelsohn's Skrull character, Olivia Colman as Sonya Falsworth, and Kingsley Ben-Adir as Gravik. While Carmen Ejogo, Killian Scott, Christopher McDonald, and Charlayne Woodard have been cast in undisclosed roles in the series, Dermot Mulroney will play the President of the USA.

Secret Invasion is a part of Marvel's Phase 5. Launched with Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, the phase will have The Marvels, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, and Loki season 2, apart from Secret Invasion. This series will premiere on June 21 on Disney+ Hotstar.
