Sofia Carson, who was last seen in Purple Hearts and Danielle Deadwyler, who was last seen in The Harder They Fall, joined the cast of the upcoming film Carry On. The film also stars Taron Egerton and Jason Bateman.

Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, the Netflix film is written by TJ Fixman, with additional writing by Michael Green. The film revolves around Ethan Kopek, a young TSA agent who gets blackmailed by a mysterious traveller to let a dangerous package slip through security and onto a Christmas Day flight.

Carry On is the first film produced as part of the deal announced between Netflix and Amblin Partners. The film is executive produced by Holly Bario, Amblin’s President of Production, who will oversee the project on behalf of the studio. Brian Williams of Dylan Clark Productions, Scott Greenberg and Seth William Meier are on board as executive producers.
