Zach Lipovsky, Adam B Stein roped in to direct Final Destination 6

This instalment is expected to relaunch the franchise that started off with the 2000 film, Final Destination

The pre-production of the sixth instalment of the Final Destination franchise is currently underway at New Line Cinema. The makers have brought filmmaker duo Zach Lipovsky and Adam B Stein, known for Freaks, onboard the project.

This instalment is expected to relaunch the franchise that started off with the 2000 film, Final Destination.

Craig Perry, who is the original franchise producer, is backing the next part along with Sheila Hanahan Taylor. 

The project is also co-produced by Spider-Man director Jon Watts and Dianne McGunigle. Watts is also working on the writing of the latest instalment. 

Guy Busick and Lori Evans Taylor, the writers of Ready or Not and the latest Scream film, are writing the script.
