Warner Bros to develop sequel to Constantine starring Keanu Reeves

The upcoming film will also be directed by Francis Lawrence

Warner Bros is set to develop a sequel to the 2005 superhero horror film Constantine, starring Keanu Reeves in the title role. 

The upcoming film will also be directed by Francis Lawrence, who made his directorial debut with the 2005 film. Constantine is adapted from DC Comics and follows the titular character John Constantine who is an exorcist with the ability to see demons and angels having an influence on commoners.

While the full cast and crew of the upcoming film has not yet been disclosed, Akiva Goldsman will write and produce under Weed Road Pictures banner. JJ Abrams and Hannah Minghella will also produce the film.
