Jeremy Allen White, known for playing Carmen 'Carmy' Berzatto in the FX series The Bear, is reportedly joining the cast of director Sean Durkin’s Iron Claw. A24, known for popular Indie horror films like Hereditary, Midsommar, and The Witch, is reportedly producing Iron Claw.

Sean Durkin earlier directed the thriller Martha Marcy May Marlene in 2011 for which he won the Dramatic Directing Award at the Sundance Film Festival. Allen White will star alongside Zac Efron and Harris Dickinson, all three will reportedly play the world-famous wrestling siblings from the Von Erichs family.

Allen White will play Kerry Von Erich while Efron plays Kevin and Dickinson plays David. The story will revolve around the rise of the wrestling family during the 1960s and will register the massive impact of the Von Erich brothers in the boxing industry. 

The film is written by the director while A24 is co-producing the film with Access Industries. Allen White is currently playing the central character in the FX series The Bear, the series is currently renewed for a second season and has been generating Emmy buzz.
