The character posters from the upcoming sequel of Enola Holmes are out. The film is set to premiere on Netflix on November 5.

Starring Millie Bobby Brown in the titular lead role, the film will feature the actor as a young detective who solves cases set in this film in the 19th century. In the film, Enola Holmes plays younger sister of Sherlock Holmes. In the trailer, Enola is probing the case of a missing girl who learns the secrets of powerful people.

According to Netflix, the synopsis reads, “Enola Holmes puts a dynamic female twist on the world’s greatest detective and his brilliant family. Based on the beloved Edgar-nominated book series, the films tell the story of Sherlock Holmes’ rebellious teen sister Enola, a gifted super-sleuth in her own right who often outsmarts her famous siblings.”

Enola Holmes 2 also stars Helena Bonham Carter as Enola's mother, Susie Wokoma, Louis Patridge, Hannah Dodd. It is directed by Harry Bradbeer, with screenplay by Jack Thorne. The film is based on Nancy Springer’s Edgar Award-nominated book series, The Enola Holmes Mysteries which is comprised of six books in total. The first and fifth books in the series were nominated for Edgar Awards in 2007 and 2010, respectively.

The Netflix film is backed by Legendary’s Mary Parent, Alex Garcia and Ali Mendes and Millie Bobby Brown and Paige Brown through their PCMA Productions.
