British actor-comedian Sacha Baron Cohen is reportedly in talks to play Marvel villain Mephisto. Reports suggest that the actor will join the ongoing Marvel Cinematic Universe with the upcoming IronHeart series, set to premiere in Disney+ Hotstar. Dominique Thorne was recently cast as the superhero Ironheart, she will make her first appearance in the upcoming Black Panther sequel titled Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

Sacha Baron Cohen is known for playing satirical characters like Borat, Ali G, and Bruno, apart from creating the characters, he often interacts with real people in character and shoots the interaction guerilla style. 

Apart from appearing in Ironheart, Baron Cohen’s Mephisto is also expected to appear in the Wandavision spinoff series Agatha: Coven of Chaos. The actor recently received an Oscar nomination for his role in screenwriter Aaron Sorkin’s directorial Trial of the Chicago 7. Baron Cohen was also announced to be a part of a thriller series titled Disclaimer. Written and directed by Alfonso Cuaron, the series is based on a novel of the same name. 

Ironheart series, created by Chinaka Hodge, is reportedly six episodes long and will feature Dominique Thorne as RiRi Williams, the child prodigy who creates Iron Man-like armour. The first look at the Ironheart series was introduced at the recently wrapped up Disney fan event D23expo.
