The Russo brothers to make series on FTX

Joe and Anthony Russo's production banner AGBO is set to back the Prime Video series on the rise and fall of cryptocurrency platform FTX.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hunters creator David Well will write the show, and the first episode is expected to be directed by the Russo brothers.

The series will be based on the platform, FTX, which was founded by Sam Bankman-Fried in 2019 and became one of the biggest crypto exchanges on the market. However, a series of revelations resulted in losses at FTX, and the company eventually filed bankruptcy prompting a group of investors to sue the company and several celebrity endorsers for fraud.

Meanwhile. the Russos, who recently backed The Gray Man for Netflix, are currently awaiting the release of their much-anticipated spy series Citadel, starring Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Richard Madden. The show will debut on Prime Video.
