It has been reported that singer and songwriter Frank Ocean is in talks with A24 to make his feature directorial debut. According to Discussing Film, both A24 and 2AM are in talks with the Grammy-winner for the project.

Ocean had earlier written and directed the 2016 visual album Endless, which was released in 2016 on Apple Music. The 46-minute-long performance was designed to give the appearance of a continuous process of Ocean building a staircase.

Discussing Film reports that if the project materialises, considering Ocean's schedule, it is likely to go on floors by Fall. A clear picture will emerge in the months to follow.

While A24 is an established studio, 2AM has only two films in its credit: the upcoming Bodies, Bodies, Bodies and Past Lives.
