Marvel enthralled their audience with a new trailer for She-Hulk at Comic-Con which ended last Sunday. The trailer ended with a tease for Daredevil’s cameo in the series. The tease cut before the camera panned to show Daredevil’s face. Now, In an interview with executive producer and head writer Jessica Gao, director Kat Coiro and Anu Valia, the showrunners confirmed that the Daredevil who appeared in the trailer will be played by Charlie Cox.
Jessica Gao is known for writing the famous Pickle Rick episode from Rick and Morty’s 3rd season. Fans were happy about Daredevil entering the series but were confused about whether it would be played by Charlie Cox. The actor had earlier played the visually challenged lawyer turned superhero in the Netflix series Daredevil. Following Disney’s acquisition of Marvel, all the Netflix marvel shows were cancelled and taken off from the streaming site. It was recently announced that Daredevil would be coming to Disney+ with brand new showrunners while retaining the original cast which includes Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio.
Charlie Cox will return as Daredevil in a new show for Disney+ titled Daredevil: Born Again. He will also make brief cameos in She-Hulk and possibly other connected Marvel shows. The series title is an homage to Frank Miller’s comics run of the same name
