An original series titled Mike that tells the story of boxing champion Mike Tyson is set to stream on Disney+ Hotstar, the streaming platform said while releasing a poster of it, on social media on Thursday.

“Mike, an Original series starring Trevante Rhodes, tells the story of the dynamic life of boxing icon Mike Tyson, coming soon on #DisneyPlusHotstar,” the streaming platform tweeted.  

The premiere date is yet to be announced. American actor Trevante Rhodes will be portraying the role of the veteran boxer. The poster shows a man’s wide open mouth that has a golden tooth, a significant feature of the boxer.

Meanwhile, Mike Tyson is set to appear in a prominent role in the upcoming film Liger, co-starring Vijay Deverakonda. The film will get released in theatres on August 25. On the other hand, Tyson is also getting a biopic in form of series. The series will feature Jamie Foxx as boxer, with Antoine Fuqua at the helm of it.
