In his recent appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored, Mickey Rourke said Tom Cruise was irrelevant in his world. When Piers Morgan brought up Tom cruise’s recent box office success with Top Gun: Maverick, Mickey Rourke responded by saying he doesn’t care about money and power.

To further underline his disapproval of Tom cruise’s acting abilities Mickey Rourke said “He has been doing the same effing thing for 35 years,” he continued “I have no respect for that.”

After accusing Tom Cruise of being repetitive, the actor and former boxer went on to talk about the kind of actors he respects: “I care about, when I watch Al Pacino working, Chris Walken and De Niro’s early work and Richard Harris’s work and Ray Winstone’s work. That’s the kind of actor I want to be like… Brando back in the day. The kind of guys who tried to stretch as actors.”

The 69 year old actor and former boxer is known for his roles in Iron Man 2, Expendables, and the critically acclaimed Wrestler
