CE Features

Actor Juliana Canfield (of Succession-fame) will star opposite Jeff Wilbusch in the upcoming limited series The Missing. The eight-episode series from David E Kelley is based on Israeli crime writer Dror A Mishani’s international bestselling novel The Missing File.

The story follows Detective Avraham (Wilbusch), who relies on his belief in humanity to uncover the truth. Guided by a deep sense of spirituality and religious principles, Avraham is left to question his own humanity when a seemingly routine investigation turns upside down.

Kelley serves as the writer, showrunner, and executive producer of the show. Canfield is set to portray a character named Janine Harris, a newbie detective with the NYPD. Looking for a mentor, she is partnered with Avraham, who prefers to work alone.

Kelley executive produces alongside Matthew Tinker, Jonathan Shapiro and Mishani as well as Keshet’s Peter Traugott, Alon Shrutzman, Avi Nir and Karni Ziv. The Missing is produced by Keshet Studios and Universal Television.
