Dylan McDermott to replace Julian McMahon as lead in FBI: Most Wanted

CE Features

It was announced earlier this week that actor Julian McMahon is exiting FBI: Most Wanted after three seasons. Now the latest is that actor Dylan McDermott will replace McMahon as the lead of the series.

McMahon’s last episode as Jess LaCroix, the head of FBI Most Wanted Unit’s team assigned to the most extreme cases, will air on 8th March. McDermott will make his debut in the series in episode 17 in April. There are no details available about the role he is set to play, however, it is reported that he will play a fresh character.

Notably, McDermott isn't new to the Dick Wolf universe. He recurs as Richard Wheatley in Law & Order: Organised Crime. Due to his transition to FBI: Most Wanted, his arc on the former is expected to wind down soon.

FBI: Most Wanted is executive produced by Dick Wolf, Peter Jankowski, David Hudgins, Todd Arnow, and Arthur W Forney.

The series hails from Wolf Entertainment, Universal Television, and CBS Studios.
