The Late Late Show host and actor James Corden tests positive for Covid-19

Actor and the host of The Late Late Show, James Corden, revealed on his social media handle that he had tested positive for Covid-19. He also informed followers that he was completely vaccinated and that he had also received a booster shot. He claimed that this helped him as he was fortunate enough to say that he was completely fine despite testing positive for the virus. 

Corden also informed that his show will be off the air for the next few days as they wait for his complete recovery. Actor Jared Leto and stand-up comedian Nick Thune were scheduled to appear on the show on Thursday, January 7. However, the show will now air repeats of The Late Late Show this week and next as well. 

New episodes of the show are expected to air on January 18 according to a source quoted by Variety. James Corden is the third late night show host to confirm that he tested positive for Covid-19. Late Night With Seth Meyers host also announced on Tuesday that he had been tested positive. The Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon also revealed that he had tested positive during the show's holiday break has since recovered.
