What We Do in the Shadows season 5 wraps filming

Although the makers are yet to confirm a release date, the fifth season is expected to release during the late half of 2023

The fifth season of the horror comedy series What We Do in the Shadows has wrapped filming. The announcement was made by Harvey Guillén who plays Guillermo in the series. He put up an Instagram post about the end of production, and the caption on the post reads, That's officially a wrap on season 5 of [What We Do in the Shadows] we did it!. Thanks to this amazing crew .. the whole team .. writers, costumes, hair and make-up, producers .. it takes a village. I can't wait for y'all to see it!"

The series was created by Jemaine Clement for FX Productions, the series is based on the 2014 film of the same name directed by Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi. Made in the style of a Mockumentary, the series follows the adventures of goofy vampires who still struggle to live in society even after centuries of being alive.

The series stars Kristen Schaal, Mark Proksch, Matt Berry, Natasia Demetriou, Harvey Guillén, and Kayvan Novak.  Although the makers are yet to confirm a release date, the fifth season is expected to release during the late half of 2023.
