Mike Flanagan, the mind behind horror series like The Midnight Mass, The Midnight Club, The Haunting of the Bly Manor, The Haunting of the Hill House, along with Trevor Macy who executive produced the series, has signed a deal with Amazon under their Intrepid Pictures banner.

The banner, earlier, had a deal with Netflix, through which the duo made The Haunting of Hill House and The Haunting of Bly Manor, Midnight Mass and The Midnight Club. "Amazon is a studio that we have long admired. Their commitment to engaging in groundbreaking series and content aligns with the ethos of what we have built at Intrepid. We are looking forward to working with the entire Amazon team as we bring our brand of genre productions to the service and audiences around the globe," Flanagan and Macy said, as per Variety.

However, Netflix will still release The Fall of the House of Usher which will mark the last project of the creators with the streaming platform.

"Mike and Trevor are remarkable at telling immersive, suspenseful stories that masterfully keep audiences engaged from start to finish. We are excited to welcome them to Amazon Studios and are looking forward to our global customers experiencing their genre-bending creativity," Vernon Sanders, head of global television for Amazon Studios, was quoted as saying.

Mike's last series The Midnight Club which premiered in October, is also cancelled after its first season.
