The horror hit Nun's sequel Nun 2 has got an official theatrical release date. The film will be out on September 8, 2023, which means the film will hit theatres exactly five years after the original Nun's debut. This also means the sequel is arriving in time for the Halloween season.

The Conjuring spin-off will see Michael Chaves of The Curse of La Llorona and The Conjuring 3: The Devil Made Me Do It fame back to filmmaking to direct stars Taissa Farmiga and Bonnie Aarons as Sister Irene and the evil Valak respectively. Malignant writer Akela Cooper will be penning the screenplay. The story happens in 1956's France where a priest is murdered and evil is spreading. Sister Irene will once again comes face to face with the demonic force Valak in the sequel.
