Canadian actor Dan Levy has joined the cast of the upcoming fourth season of Sex Education, streaming platform Netflix announced on social media on Friday.

Dan Levy will play the role of Mr Molloy in the series. However, the information on his role details is yet to be made known. Dan was earlier seen in shows like Modern Family (2018), Schitt's Creek (2015-20), among others.

The shooting for the upcoming season began earlier this month. Sex Education stars Asa Butterfield as Otis Milburn, and Emma Mackey as Maeve Wiley as the leads. Ncuti Gatwa, Gillian Anderson, Connor Swindells, Kedar Williams-Stirling, Mimi Keene, and Alistair Petrie are also retained in the cast. Jemima Kirke, Jason Isaacs, Dua Saleh, and Indra Ové are also part of the cast. However, a few characters portrayed by Patricia Allison, Tanya Reynolds, Rakhee Thakrar, and Simone Ashley will be absent from the fourth season.

The third season has got a largely positive response with fans praising the makers for being more inclusive and also adding depth to the characters. However, little is known about the plot of the fourth season.
