Sam Worthington and Sienna Miller join the cast of Kevin Costner’s upcoming film titled Horizon. The film, which stars an ensemble cast, is reported to be an epic western. Actor Kevin Costner is handling the direction, and production and is also bankrolling the film. He is producing the film under his Territory Pictures. 

Kevin Costner, who won the Oscars for Best Picture and Best Director for his work in Dances With Wolves, last directed a western titled Open Range in 2003. He is also co-writing the script for Horizon with Jon Baird. Jamie Campbell Bower, who recently turned heads by playing the terrifying villain named Vecna in Stranger Things, is also part of the film’s cast.

The official synopsis for the film reads, “Horizon chronicles a multi-faceted, 15-year span of pre-and post-Civil War expansion and settlement of the American West. Experienced through the eyes of many, the epic journey is fraught with peril and intrigue from the constant onslaught of natural elements to the interactions with the Indigenous peoples who lived on the land and the determination and at many times ruthlessness of those who sought to settle it.”
