Thor: Love and Thunder crosses 100 crores at the Indian Box Office

The film, which is part of Phase 4 of the MCU, is also the sixth highest-grossing film of the year, globally

Marvel’s Thor: Love and Thunder has reportedly crossed the 100-crore mark at the Indian Box Office this year. It becomes the second film this year to cross 100 crores, following Doctor Strange In the Multiverse of Madness. The film, directed by Taika Waititi, stars Chris Hemsworth as the god of thunder. This is the fourth film to follow the solo adventures of Thor and continues the character's journey after the events of Avengers End Game. The superhero film is also set to cross $700 million globally. 

The film marks Christian Bale’s entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, who played the antagonist Gorr The God Butcher. Thor: Love and Thunder also brought back Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster in a crucial role. The superhero group Guardians of the Galaxy also had a brief cameo in the film. 

The ensemble cast also includes Tessa Thompson, Jaimie Alexander, Taika Waititi, Russell Crowe, and Chris Pratt. The film, which is part of Phase 4 of the MCU, is also the sixth highest-grossing film of the year, globally.
