Netflix, the streaming platform, has cancelled its teen vampire drama series, First Kill, after season one. Created by Victoria Schwab and produced by Emma Roberts, the series stars Sarah Catherine Hook, Imani Lewis and Elizabeth Mitchell. According to the streaming platform, the film’s synopsis reads, “Falling in love is tricky for teens Juliette and Calliope: One’s a vampire, the other is a vampire hunter — and both are ready to make their first kill.”

The First Kill series premiered in June this year and the show was based on a short story by best-selling author Victoria VE Schwab, who co-wrote the script with Felicia D Henderson. Felicia also served as showrunner and executive produced alongside creator Schwab as well as Roberts and Karah Preiss.
