It has been announced that Star Trek: Strange New Worlds will be available to stream on Voot Select in India from May 5.

The ten-episode series will follow the adventures of Captain Christopher Pike, Science Officer Spock and Number One during their years before Captain Kirk boarded the USS Enterprise, as they explore new worlds and civilizations. Anson Mount, Rebecca Romijn, and Ethan Peck will be reprising their Star Trek: Discovery roles as Captain Christopher Pike, Number One and Science Officer Spock, respectively.

The series first episode is written by Akiva Goldsman with a story by Akiva Goldsman, Alex Kurtzman and Jenny Lumet. Goldsman has also directed the first episode in addition to serving as an executive producer along with Kurtzman and Lumet.

The series is produced by CBS Studios, Secret Hideout and Roddenberry Entertainment.
