The cast of Zack Snyder's upcoming space film Rebel Moon keeps growing. Actors Cary Elwes, Corey Stoll, Michiel Huisman, and Alfonso Herrera have joined the cast of the film.

Headlined by Sofia Boutella, Rebel Moon also stars Charlie Hunnam, Djimon Hounsou, Doona Bae, Ray Fisher, Rupert Friend, and Stuart Martin. The film marks Snyder's second film with Netflix after Army of the Dead.

The film is written by Snyder along with Shay Hatten and Kurt Johnstad, based on a story by Snyder and Johnstad.

"When a peaceful colony on the edge of the galaxy finds itself threatened by the armies of the tyrannical Regent Balisarius, they dispatch a young woman with a mysterious past to seek out warriors from neighboring planets to help them take a stand," reads the logline of the film.

Elwes will be playing the king of the galactic empire. Details of the roles other actors are set to play remain unknown.

Snyder, Deborah Snyder and Wesley Coller produce the film under Stone Quarry, while Eric Newman produces for Grand Electric. Sarah Bowen serves as executive producer.
