With Free Guy, Ryan Reynolds' much-hyped comic actioner releasing in India on Friday, the actor has sent a special message for Indian audiences.

In a short video, Ryan introduces the film and its characters to us and wittily ends the video with, "There is some insane action, and of course, dancing... If you are wondering if Hollywood is mimicking Bollywood now, the answer is yes. We have no shame. We have no shame at all."

Written by Matt Liebermann, who also shares screenplay credits with Zak Penn, Free Guy is about Reynolds' bank teller who discovers that he is actually a non-player character in an open-world video game and becomes the hero of the story, trying to save his friends from deletion by the game's creator.

The Shawn Levy directorial, which also stars Taika Waititi, Jodie Comer, Utkarsh Ambudkar, and Lil Rel Howery, will hit the Indian screens on September 17.
