Georgina Reilly, Wilson Bethel to headline romantic comedy Match Me If You Can

Actor Georgina Reilly and Wilson Bethel are all set to star in the upcoming indie rom-com Match Me If You Can.

Written by Betsy Morris, the film is set to be directed by Marian Yeager. The story centers on Kip Parsons (Reilly), a female computer nerd who declares war on online dating services when she gets rejected by one as “unmatchable. She becomes a reluctant spokeswoman for all the frustrated singles out there. As per the logline, Riley Detamore (Bethel), the programmer and mastermind behind the dating service, sets up a meet to know why Kip is trashing his company. This produces an awkward chain of mishaps, ending with no answers and leaving them both feeling an undeniable spark.

Yeager is producing the film with Monica Lund. The project is scheduled to go into production in Austin in late October.

Reilly most recently recurred on City on a Hill and The Baker and the Beauty, along with the Canadian drama series Murdoch Mysteries. Bethel was most recently seen on the drama All Rise. He was earlier a series regular on Netflix’s Daredevil. His other credits include Hart of DixieThe Astronaut Wives Club, Harley and the Davidsons and the HBO miniseries Generation Kill.
