Actors Idris Elba, Justice Smith, and Taylour Paige are all set to headline an upcoming drama movie titled We All Die Young.

Based on a story by Daveed Diggs and Cinaka Hodge, the film is set to be directed by Jake Schreier (Robert & Frank).

We All Die Young follows a rapper named Marcus (Smith), who is in the midst of a breaking gig and is undertaking the biggest live tour anyone has ever seen. However, he is under tremendous pressure to make new music and is hopelessly blocked. He soon meets a young woman (Paige) who convinces him to take a breath, which puts him at odds with the owner of the record label (Elba), who also happens to be one who raised Marcus and is also his mentor.

The film is produced by Temple Hill's Wyck Godfrey, Marty Bowen and Isaac Klausner with Diggs, Schreier and Benny Blanco.

Paige is known for starring in titles like Zoya, Ma Rainey's Black Bottom and Boogie. Elba, who was recently seen in The Suicide Squad, has The Harder They Fall, Sonic The Hedgehog 2, Three Thousand Years of Longing, and Beast coming up. Smith will be seen in Amazon's The Voyeurs and the Dungeons and Dragons feature film. He will also reprise his role as Franklin Webb in the upcoming Jurassic World: Dominion.
