The release date of the Dwayne Johnson-starrer Jungle Cruise has been announced. The film, which was released in multiple countries on July 30 will now be out in Indian theatres on September 24. The makers released a new poster that confirmed the release date and that the film will be dubbed in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra who is known for his thriller films like Orphan and The Commuter, the new film is based on Walt Disney's eponymous theme park attraction that's located at various Disney theme parks worldwide. Also starring Emily Blunt, Édgar Ramírez, Jack Whitehall, Jesse Plemons, and Paul Giamatti, Jungle Cruise follows the captain of a small riverboat who takes a scientist and her brother through a jungle in search of the Tree of Life.

In August, Johnson confirmed that the film will be getting a sequel with Blunt reportedly reprising her role and Collet-Serra returning as the director.

Meanwhile, Johnson is awaiting the release of his superhero film Black Adam in which he plays the titular role. Interestingly, the film is also helmed by Collet-Serra.
