Hunter Schafer, John Malkovich, Gemma Chan to star in Cuckoo

The film will be directed by Tilman Singer of Luz-fame

The upcoming horror feature from Tilman Singer, Cuckoo, has added Hunter Schafer of Euphoria-fame, John Malkovich, Gemma Chan, and Sofia Boutella to its cast.

The film, which marks Singer's sophomore outing after the supernatural film Luz, is currently in development at Neon, and is expected to enter production in April next year. 

Singer will be collaborating with his crew from his debut feature, including the director of photography Paul Faltz composer Simon Waskow and production designer Dario Mendez Acosta. The film also stars Jan Bluthardt, Zita Hanrot, and Proschat Madani.

The film will be produced by Ken Kao and Josh Rosenbaum through Waypoint Entertainment in association with Markus Halberschmidt and Maria Tsigka of Fiction Park, and Thor Bradwell.
