If the teaser of The Batman was the biggest announcement in last year's DC FanDome, the film's trailer ended up becoming the centrepiece of this year's online fan event. The new trailer, introduced by director Matt Reeves and actors Robert Pattinson and Zoë Kravitz, was the final reveal at yesterday's event.

Here's the much-awaited trailer of The Batman...

The trailer starts with a glimpse of one of Batman's famous adversaries, Riddler and goes on to show more of his antagonists. The video also features Pattinson in the caped crusader's costume as well as Kravitz's Catwoman, Jeffrey Wright's James Gordan and Andy Serkis as Batman's butler and mentor, Alfred Pennyworth.

The rest of the cast includes Paul Dano, John Turturro, Peter Sarsgaard and Colin Farrell. Reeves confirmed during the event that the film is currently in post-production. The Batman is scheduled to hit screens on March 25, 2022.
