M Night Shyamalan‘s next film is titled Knock At The Cabin. The Universal Pictures film will release theatrically on February 3, 2023, two weeks prior to the earlier announced date.

The director took to his official social media handles to announce the news. This will be his fifth collaboration with Universal Pictures after Old (2021), Glass (2019), Split (2017) and The Visit (2015).

Details of the plot and cast of the thriller are currently known. In August, Shyamalan had revealed that the third draft of the film was about 100 pages. The film is reportedly expected to begin filming in the summer of 2022.

With the change in the release date, the film has avoided competition with Disney's Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

Notably, Shyamalan’s recent release Old earned $90.1 million at the global box office amid the pandemic.
