Actors Casey Affleck, Laurence Fishburne and Emily Beecham have been roped in to star in the upcoming psychological sci-fi thriller Slingshot.

Written by R Scott Adams and Nathan Parker, the film is set to be directed by Mikael Hafstrom. The film follows an astronaut struggling to maintain his grip on reality aboard a possibly fatally compromised mission to Saturn's moon, Titan.

Slingshot also stars Tomer Capone and David Morrissey. The principal photography of the film is set to begin on December 1 at Korda Studios and other locations in and around Budapest, Hungary.

The film is being produced by Saperstein.
