As Stone Cold Steve Austin turns 57, his former colleague from his WWF federation, Dwayne Johnson, wished him on social media with a video. The leading Hollywood star shared a post reminiscing about their old days.

The Rock wrote, "Happy Birthday to my all time greatest rivalry and friend from our wild and ground breaking days in the business that’ll forever be in our blood ~ pro wrestling. It’s hard to explain how much HELL we raised together, in arenas and stadiums all around the world. We split each other open and bled a lot."

He added, "It’s what we did. Blood. Sweat. Respect. Rock Bottoms. Stunners. Beer. More beer. Fun. More fun. And big middle fingers. EVERY. SINGLE. NIGHT. FOR. YEARS. And as much fun as we had, the @wwe crowds ENJOYED IT EVEN MORE. Happy Birthday, my brother. And thank you “for the house” all those years and for a partnership that led to the biggest box office draw in pro wrestling history."

The Rock and Stone Cold were one of the top WWE wrestlers of the 90s and early 2000s who had a huge fan following across the world. The post has received an overwhelming response from Rock's followers, who were reminded about the good old days of WWF and WWE.

On the work front, Dwayne Johnson was last seen in Red Notice, which premiered on Netflix. He will next play the titular role in DC's new superhero film Black Adam
