This Is Us star Sterling K Brown and Randall Park of Fresh Off The Boat-fame are working together in an upcoming action-comedy feature backed by Amazon Studios. 

Apart from starring in it, Brown and Park will also produce the film under their banners, Indian Meadows and Imminent Collision, respectively. 

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the project is being described as something in the vein of the cult 1982 buddy cop movie 48 Hrs, starring Eddie Murphy and Nick Nolte.

Alex Tse, the co-creator of Wu Tang: An American Saga, will be writing the script for this film, which is about two estranged childhood best friends, to be played by Brown and Park, who now find themselves on opposite sides of the law. 

Hieu Ho and Michael Golamco will also produce the film for Imminent Collision. Danielle Reardon will executive produce
