Jeremy Garelick to direct Murder Mystery sequel; Jennifer Aniston, Adam Sandler reportedly returning

Jeremy Garelick has been tapped in to direct a Murder Mystery sequel by Netflix. There are reports that Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler will reprise their roles in the film.

The first draft of the film is written by James Vanderbilt. The film will shoot in Paris and the Caribbean.

In the original film directed by Kyle Newacheck, Sandler, a cop, and Aniston, his wife, find themselves framed for the murder of an elderly rich guy during their vacation.

Garelick made his direction debut with The Wedding Ringer. He co-founded American High production company with Mickey Liddell’s LD Entertainment. Garelick and American High produced the Vince Vaughn-directed The Binge, and the Pete Davidson-starrer Big Time Adolescence. American High recently wrapped production on the Hulu comedy Sex Appeal. He will soon go into production on an untitled comedy directed by Sammi Cohen. Garelick also recently produced The Ultimate Playlist Of Noise, starring Madeline Brewer and Keean Johnson.
