Karthik Subbaraj brings back SPB-Rajinikanth magic?

Buzz has it that legendary singer SP Balasubrahmanyam may sing the introduction song in Karthik Subbaraj's untitled film with Rajinikanth. And if this materialises, SPB and Superstar will be collaborating again after Lingaa.

"There's a belief that if SPB sings an intro song for him, the song and film will become a huge hit. But, the singer hadn't sung in Kabali and Kaala," says a source, adding, "It's true that the makers are in talks with SPB sir." However, there is no official confirmation yet. 

Produced by Sun Pictures, this is Rajinikanth's 165th film. It has music by Anirudh Ravichander.
