Suriya not a part of the YSR biopic

Unconfirmed reports suggested that Suriya would play an important role in Yatra, the biopic of late Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy, which features Mammootty in the lead. However, it has now been revealed that there is no truth in these rumours.

The first look poster of the biopic was shared by Mammootty on Facebook recently. The film marks the actor's comeback to the Telugu industry after 25 years.

To be bankrolled by 70MM Entertainments, the makers are currently finalising the cast and crew of the project. 

This biopic will chronicle the life of the politician who died in 2009 in a helicopter crash.
