First look of Samantha in Nadigaiyar Thilagam revealed 

It seems there is no stopping for Samantha Akkineni. The actress, who is basking in the success of Rangasthalam is ready to spring a surprise with yet another fascinating role in upcoming Nadigaiyar Thilagam (Mahanati in Telugu), a biopic on legendary actress Savitri. The 30-year-old actress essays the role a journalist, Madhuravani, in the Naga Ashwini directorial which is set to hit the screens on May 9. The makers have released the first look of her character from the film on Friday to an overwhelming response.

Interestingly, Samantha will be dubbing her lines for her role. "Naga Ashwin wants all the actors in the film to dub their own lines. After convincing Dulquer Salman, he has asked Samantha to say her lines in Telugu and currently, the actress is prepping up for the dubbing process which will commence next week in Hyderabad," informs a source.

Starring Keerthy Suresh, Rajendra Prasad, Mohan Babu, Bhanu Priya, Vijay Deverakonda and Malavika Nair in lead roles, the film is being bankrolled by Vyjayanthi Movies.
