Celebrities have come up with music videos to celebrate Kannada Rajyotsava this year
It's Kannada Rajyotasava tomorrow, and the Kannada film fratenity are joining in the celebration. While a couple of filmmakers have come up with exceptional trailers that they plan to release tomorrow, actresses Shraddha Srinath and Shanvi Srivastava, along with standup comedian Pradeep, are dedicating a music video made in true filmy style.
“This is a compilation of 13 hits songs of various Kannada actors from their classic films, which includes those of Dr Rajkumar, Vishnuvardhan, Anant Nag, Shankar Nag to the latest tracks from Puneeth Rajkumar, Darshan, Sudeep and Ganesh,” says Pradeep. “Each song is shot for 10 seconds, and the video will end with the famous track, Huttidare Kannada naadalli huttabeku.”
The two actresses apparently had to change into 13 different outfits to go with the various tracks. As you celebrate Rajyotsava, look out for the song tribute which will be released online tomorrow.

The rapper has come out with a music video for Kannada Rajyotsava, featuring heroes, on and off screen, and heroines including Samyukta Hornad, Mayuri and Aishwarya. The track is to promote the use of Kannada, an idea Alok came up with when he met social worker and educationist Sunitha Manjunath.
“Since Kannada speaking crowd is thinning by the day, we thought this song could make a change and motivate everyone to learn the language of the place they live in. Shot in the beautiful places of Karnataka including Mangaluru, Jogfalls, Chickmagaluru and Bengaluru, the music video presents beautiful landscapes in Karnataka.”
Happy with the success of Tarak, in which Alok had a guest appearance, the actor-rapper is now ready for his next film outings.
