Anu Emmanuel, Pooja Hegde in race for #NTR28

With Jr NTR and Trivikram Srinivas collaborating for the first time for a big-budget extravaganza #NTR28, the question now is who will play the female lead. While nothing is certain yet, the team is apparently now close to finalising its leading lady.

According to a source, actresses Anu Emmanuel and Pooja Hegde are both in consideration to play NRT's love interest in the film produced by S Radha Krishna. While Anu has been working on Trivikram’s next release starring Pawan Kalyan, Pooja has become the toast of the season following the stupendous success of Duvvada Jagannadham.

“The team wants to cast a fresh face opposite NTR and are considering the likes of Anu and Pooja. We will get a clear picture in the first week of December and chances are bright for one of them to grab the deal,” informs a source.

Meanwhile, speculations were rife that the film also has comedian-turned-hero Sunil in a pivotal role. Anirudh Ravichander is scoring the music for the film which is expected to go on floors in February
