Superstar to shoot for a duet with Amy

It looks like Shankar plans to shoot the last song of 2.0 next month at a huge set in Chennai erected by the art director T Muthuraj.

Sources indicate that Amy Jackson will be rehearsing for the song in the city, which is likely to be choreographed by Bosco of Ennodu Nee Irundhaal fame. "The crew will be practising the song for 10 days and it will be the highlight of the film. Rajinikanth has allocated 12 days to shoot the duet with Amy. This will be our final song," added the source.

Touted to be the costliest Asian film till date, the makers are striving to ensure that it measures up to Hollywood standards. The film also stars Akshay Kumar as the main antagonist, and is likely to release in 6 languages — Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, English, Japanese and Chinese. Said to be India's first film shot in 3D, the film, with cinematography by Nirav Shah, will be releasing in January next year.
