

Actor Ajith Kumar is the latest to be caught in the long line of celebrities who have been receiving bomb threats to their residences. The Vidaamuyarchi actor's ECR house in Chennai received a threat about a hidden explosive, prompting the bomb squad to investigate the location. No details regarding the explosive or the identity of the sender have been revealed yet. Enquiries are currently underway.
A few days ago, the DGP office in the city received an email threat from an unidentified sender who wrote about planting a bomb in actor Arun Vijay's residence in the Ekkattuthangal area. Upon thorough inspection from the squad as well as police, no explosive device was found at his place. However, authorities are conducting an intensive investigation to find the source of the email.
Earlier, Rajinikanth, Dhanush and actor-turned-political leader Vijay received bomb threats. Similar threats were issued to the houses of Trisha and Nayanthara. Eminent composer Ilaiyaraaja's T Nagar studio was also targeted by a bomb hoax in October. This has also extended to high-profile locations, including the Chief Minister’s residence, the Opposition leader’s house, the Governor’s Mansion, and major railway stations.
Ajith, who seen in Magizh Thirumeni's Vidaamuyarchi and Adhik Ravichandran's Good Bad Ugly this year, will be reuniting with Adhik once again for AK64. On the racing front, his team Ajith Kumar Racing participated in 24H Middle East Trophy in Dubai; 24H European Series in Mugello, Spa-Francorchamps, Misano, Paul Richard and Barcelona; Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe in Portimao, Estoril, Valencia, and Barcelona; GT4 European Series in Paul Ricard, Zandvoort, Spa, Misano, Nürburgring and Barcelona---26 races across two continents and four series this year.
