Just five days after a bomb threat was made to the home of Trisha, along with Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin and actor Swarna Mallya, Nayanthara's residence has fallen victim to another fake bomb threat.
In recent months, Tamil Nadu has been rattled by a series of bomb hoaxes, sparking widespread panic. False alarms have targeted schools, leading to chaotic evacuations of students, while similar threats have been issued against high-profile locations, including the Chief Minister’s residence, the Opposition leader’s house, the Governor’s Mansion, and major railway stations.
On Tuesday, a bomb threat email was sent to the DGP office in Chennai, claiming a bomb was planted in actor Nayanthara's luxurious home in Alwarpet's Venus Colony. The Teynampet police and sniffer dog team responded promptly and conducted a search. However, the search concluded that the threat was only a hoax, as in previous cases.
Nayanthara's Venus Colony residence is usually occupied by her and her family, but it's currently locked since she's abroad for filming. Only security guards are present for safety purposes.
On the work front, Nayanthara is currently busy filming for Sundar C's Mookuthi Amman 2, a sequel to RJ Balaji's 2020 directorial, Mookuthi Amman. In Kannada, she is reportedly set to be seen as Yash's sister in his upcoming big-budget film, Toxic. In Telugu, she has Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu alongside actor Chiranjeevi. She is also a part of the ensemble cast of the Malayalam film Patriot, also starring Mammootty, Mohanlal, and Fahadh Faasil. Apart from these, she also has Rakkayie, Mannangatti Since 1960, Dear Students and an untitled film with Kavin in various stages of production.
