Genelia Deshmukh, who is currently awaiting the release of Sitaare Zameen Par, where she stars alongside Aamir Khan recently recalled the roles offered to her from the South Indian film industry and noted that they were the "best roles ever."

In a recent interview before the release of RS Prasanna's film, Genelia pointed out that her characters have always been memorable, etched in the hearts of people even after many years. "They were my learning ground. I am eternally indebted to the work that I had gotten there. If you go to Hyderabad, even today people will know a Hasini (from Bommarillu/Santosh Subramaniam), Harini in Tamil (Boys), and Ayesha from Malayalam (Urumi). I have been blessed," she said.

If you enjoy that process, you have a whole career that speaks fot itself," she added.
